Request for Assistance with a Research Study with Colorado’s D/HH Community

Hello All,
Our Partners from the University of Colorado Boulder need your help to reach our Deaf/ Hard of Hearing community members.
University of Colorado Boulder is conducting a research study to document the health impacts of the October 2025 floods in Southwest Colorado on the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing (D/HH) community. The study involves online (Zoom) interviews with D/HH individuals.
Please see the recruitment flyer. We offer $50 for completing the interview, and a $35 bonus for each successful referral. For those interested and eligible to participate, scanning the QR Code in the flyer will take them to a Qualtrics form where they can initiate the enrollment process.

We will be accepting participants over the next few weeks, who meet our eligibility criteria:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must self-identify as Deaf or Hard of Hearing (D/HH).
- Must use ASL as a primary or preferred mode of communication.
- Must have been a resident or physically present in one of the affected Southwest Colorado counties during the flood events of October 2025.
