Consideration of Approval of a Special Events Permit for Our Savior Lutheran Church

This is an application for a Special Events Permit for Our Savior Lutheran Church dba Our Savior Lutheran School to sell Fermented Malt Beverages at the Red Ryder Rodeo Grounds located at 344 Hwy 84, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147, for the 2025 Red Ryder Rodeo event July 3-5, 2025. The Sheriff has been notified of this event and the proper fees were collected. The premises was posted for the required ten (10) days prior to the event. Staff recommends approval of this Special Event Permit.

Consideration for the Adoption of the 2025 Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office Evacuation Plan

This Evacuation Plan provides guidance for an initial response, a concept of operations, inter-departmental roles and responsibilities in the event of an evacuation with Archuleta County. The evacuation plan is consistent with and supports the Archuleta County Emergency Operations Plan and is compliant with the National Incident Management Systems (NIMS).

Introduction and First Reading of Ordinance No. 25-2025 for Safe Use of Public Property to Limit Public Camping and Prohibit Temporary Structure on Public Property Within Archuleta County

The purpose and intent of this Ordinance is to ensure the safe use of public property, to protect those lawfully using public property, preserve public property, promote the safe and lawful use of public property, and promote the public health, safety, and welfare of the citizens, including the residents of Archuleta County.

Pursuant to C.R.S. 30-11-108, the Board of County Commissioners are charged with establishing fees charged for county services. This resolution updates certain fees. Suggested amendments or additions to the current fee schedule are highlighted in yellow to ensure transparency in how the county represents changing fees.
