Proclamation – 9/11 Day of Remembrance: 25th Anniversary
Proclamation by the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) proclaiming September 11, 2026, as the 25th Anniversary of the attacks of 9/11 and the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance in the County of Archuleta and urge our citizens to recognize the heroism of firefighters, rescue and law enforcement personnel, military service members and the many volunteers who responded to these tragic events with courage, selfless compassion, determination and skill; and to remember the victims and innocent lives lost because of the tragic events on September 11, 2001.Veronica Medina

Recognition of Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program Awards
On August 17, 2026 two Pagosa Springs Cadets received recognition for reaching majority milestones in the Civic Air Patrol’s Cadet Program:
– Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Maximus Ibram received General Ira C. Eaker Award which is earned by fewer than 5% of CAP cadets nationwide.
– Cadet Captain Nicoletta Ibram received the Amelia Earhart Award, recognizing advanced leadership and achievement as a cadet officer.Warren Brown

The Colorado Timber Ridge Metro District (“CTR-MD”) is proposing to add an Amendment to the original 2012 Service Plan. The Amendment would authorized CTR-MD to provide 2 additional services:1. Declaration Enforcement
2. Architectural /Improvement Review
The original Service Plan authorized CTR-MD to provide Road Maintenance and Parks & Recreation (Common Property Maintenance) service for the Timber Ridge Subdivision.

Consideration of Approval of a New Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License Application for Thai Bangkok Pagosa LLC
This is a new application for a Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License for Thai Bangkok Pagosa LLC, dba Thai Bangkok Pagosa Restaurant, located at 19 Navajo Trail Drive, Suite A, Pagosa Springs, CO. The application has been fully completed and reviewed, and the applicant(s) have submitted fingerprints to the CBI. All proper fees have been paid in accordance with the County Fee Schedule. Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office has completed its background check, and the County Building Department has completed its inspection with no issues found. Staff recommends approval of this new Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License application.Tonya McCann

Consideration for Approval of a Refund of County Portion of 2025 Real Estate Taxes for Olympus SRH LLC
In June 2021, the Board of County Commissioners (the “BoCC”) approved an Agreement to Award Incentive to Maintain Lewis Street Apartments as Affordable Housing (attached). Section 1.b. of the Agreement states that an annual report shall be provided to the BoCC setting forth the rental rate for each unit at the property at 180 Lewis Street compared to the 100% of the AMI for Archuleta County. Upon receipt of the report and full payment of the real estate taxes, a refund of the county portion of the tax bill shall be sent to the property owner. The refund will come from the overages recognized by Archuleta County from the fees on short-term rentals. Olympus SRH, LLC has provided the report, has paid the real property tax for 2025 and this agenda item is to request a refund of the County Portion of the 2025 real estate taxes paid in 2026 in the amount of $785.99. The Archuleta County Treasurer has confirmed this amount.Tonya McCann

Consideration of Resolution 2026 – ______ Requesting the Bureau of Indian Affairs Grant, Process, Record and/or Transfer the Right-of-Way for Route SU-169/Archuleta County Road 500
This Resolution requests that the Bureau of Indian Affairs grant, process, approve, record, and/or transfer to Archuleta County, as appropriate under applicable federal law and Bureau of Indian Affairs procedure, the right-of-way for Route SU-169/Archuleta County Road 500 to which the Tribe consented in 1974, in accordance with the 1974 Memorandum of Understanding for Surveys, Construction and Maintenance of Southern Ute Agency Route SU-169.
