  • Consideration and Approval of a Retail Center License Renewal for HGS LLC dba High Grade Specialists

    This is a renewal of a Retail Center License for HGS LLC dba High Grade Specialists located at 600 Cloman Boulevard, Units 1 & 2, in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This renewal includes no changes. The application is complete and the proper fees have been paid. The Sheriff’s Office, County Building Department and Fire Protection District have all completed their inspections and found no issues. The financial impact to the County is the fees paid per the County Fee Schedule and staff recommends approval of this marijuana license renewal.

  • Ratification of the Chair’s Signature on an ADA Ford Transit Electric Van Order Form

    This order form was signed to authorize the purchase of a 2026 Ford Electric Transit Van, funded by the Electric Transit Subaward Grant awarded to Archuleta County on January 30, 2024. The Chair signed this Agreement on August 5, 2025.

  • Ratification of the Chair’s Signature for a Letter of Support for the Town of Pagosa Springs

    This letter of support is to support the FY2027 Forest Legacy (FLP) application for the Reservoir Hill Forest (RHP) project in the Town of Pagosa Springs. The Chair of the Board of County Commissioners signed the letter on August 29, 2025.

  • Consideration of Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement Between the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office, the Board of County Commissioners of Archuleta County and the Archuleta School District 50 JT

    This agreement is for the The Sheriff’s Office and the School District to promote a School Resource Officer Program to provide a school-based approach to the development of a positive relationship between students and the police and the prevention of delinquency, alcohol and substance abuse and other youth related problems. The Sheriff recommends the approval of this IGA.

  • Consideration of Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement Between Archuleta County and the Town of Pagosa Springs

    This IGA between Archuleta County and the Town of Pagosa Springs regarding the staffing of the tourism department and the administration of the Pagosa Springs Area Tourism Board and administration of lodging tax funding in a cooperative effort to promote and manage Pagosa Springs and Archuleta County as a tourism destination.

  • Consideration of Approval of a Secured Transportation Service License Application from Axis Health System with Three Vehicle Permits

    This is an application for a Secure Transportation Service license for Southwest Colorado Mental Health Center dba Axis Health System located at 1125 Three Springs Blvd. in Durango, Colorado. Included with this agenda item are applications for three (3) vehicle permits for Axis Health System. In accordance with state statute and 6 CCR 1011-4, the license and permits will allow Axis Health System to provide urgent transportation services within the boundaries of Archuleta County to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The vehicles have passed inspection, all documentation has been properly submitted and the proper fees have been paid. Staff recommends approval of this secure transportation service license with three vehicle permits.

  • Consideration of Approval of a Public Contract for Services with Economic Consultants Oregon, Ltd. dba ECOnorthwest

    This Public Contract for Services is for the creation of the Regional Housing Strategy Plan, creating a practical, implementation-focused Housing Action Plan that meets Colorado SB 24-174 requirements. The amount of funds appropriated for this Contract is sixty thousand dollars ($60,000.00) to be reimbursed by the State of Colorado through the Housing Planning Grant Program.

    Pursuant to C.R.S. 27-1-104, the governing body of each local government shall designate or appoint a person to prepare the annual budget for submittal to that governing body. The County Manager has historically been appointed as the Budget Officer for Archuleta County.
