Introduction
Separate sealed BIDS for the Pines Drive Resurfacing project will be received by Archuleta County, Colorado at the office of Davis Engineering Service, Inc. located at 188 South 8th Street, P.O. Box 1208, Pagosa Springs, Colorado 81147, until 2:00 P.M. local time on March 19, 2026, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Description
The project consists of resurfacing an existing asphalt roadway being approximately 0.52 miles of Pines Drive from the intersection with Park Avenue on the west end to the intersection with Masters Circle on the east end. The project will be pursued as a Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) project on a road that was experimentally stabilized and chip sealed in 2019. The project generally maintains the existing horizontal and vertical alignments, with minor longitudinal and cross slope corrections as appropriate.
Project work includes, but is not limited to roadway pulverization, excavation, embankment, gravel placement, erosion control, asphalt paving, shouldering, ditching, pavement marking, traffic control, seeding and mulching, and other items typically associated with road construction.
Requirements
Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and PLANS may be obtained on or after February 16, 2026, at the office of Davis Engineering Service, Inc. located at the address mentioned above, upon payment of $100.00 for each set. No refund will be made for returned copies.
Mandatory Conference
A mandatory pre-bid conference and inspection trip for prospective Bidders will be held at the office of Davis Engineering Service, Inc. (phone number (970) 264-5055), located at the address mentioned above, at 2:00 P.M. local time on March 10, 2026.
