The Archuleta County Communications Department aims to provide residents with up-to-date information on happenings in and around the county and within all departments. In addition to keeping residents in the know, the Communications Specialist is the county’s acting Public Information Officer (PIO). During emergencies, the PIO will communicate with the public via press releases, social media and local news outlets.
