Rise Above Violence

Local non-profit that supports victims and survivors of domestic abuse. They help connect individuals with legal services, safe housing, victim compensation and more. Axis Health is open and available for patients and the community at all Axis Health System locations. Providing primary health care, mental health care, substance use treatment, care coordination and dental health care.

Pagosa Community Initiative

Local non-profit that focuses on creating interactive opportunities that honor culture and diversity. PCI provides Archuleta residents with services that increase wellness and engagement for a better quality of life. For more information or support please visit Pagosa Community Initiative.

Pagosa Outreach Connection (POC) 

A volunteer-led group of local agencies, churches, and community members who have come together since 2002 to provide short-term support to Archuleta County residents facing unexpected financial crises.

Fill out an application and drop off at the Community United Methodist Church (434 Lewis St.) or the Archuleta County Department of Human Services (550 Hot Springs Blvd., Suite A), using the designated drop boxes at either location.

Pagosa Senior Center 

Their mission is to promote independence and advance community resilience by empowering individuals who are 60 and better, their families, and other community stakeholders. For more information on the community café or meals on wheel visit Archuleta Seniors Inc. 

A Companion That Serves (ACTS)

Low Income Energy Assistance Program

The Colorado Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) is a federally funded program that helps eligible hard-working Colorado families, seniors and individuals pay a portion of their winter home heating costs.

The LEAP program works to keep our communities warm during the winter (November through April). The program accepts applications between November and April. Click below to learn more about applying for LEAP benefits, including a checklist to help you prepare your application. If you’re looking for assistance outside of LEAP season, it may be available. Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC)

Southwest Colorado Disaster Assistance

In partnership with Mile High United Way, the Colorado State Emergency Operations Center activated 2-1-1 Colorado to connect Coloradans with human service resource statewide.  Coloradans can reach Western Colorado 2-1-1 website at wc211.org or calling 1-888-217-1215.
