The priority of the Human Resources department is to provide recruitment, compensation, consultation, workforce development and risk management services to Archuleta County departments so they can continue to deliver effective and efficient services to the citizens of Archuleta County.

The Human Resources Department coordinates recruiting, training, administration of employee benefits programs, and provides personnel services to over 160 county employees. The Human Resource Department oversees the County’s Risk Management and insurance needs.
