Region 9 Economic Development District is updating the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for 2026. This plan sets priorities for the next five years in housing, jobs, infrastructure, natural resources, and quality of life across Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma, and San Juan Counties.
Your participation is key. It takes about 10-20 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential. Results will be combined with other community input to create a regional picture of well-being and opportunity.
Development other than single-family homes/manufactured homes and qualified Ag & Accessory structures require a Land Use Permit. Any development (including homes, Ag & Accessory structures) on a parcel in the floodplain requires a Floodplain Development Permit. See the Planning Applications page.
