Public Works

Archuleta County’s Public Works Division maintains infrastructure that will ensure the reliable and convenient access to county services, facilities, recreational and natural resource areas, and employment centers. This is done to enhance the quality of life of Archuleta County residents and to promote the economic development of the area.

We work to provide effective and efficient service to the public in each of our five divisions, including: County Engineer, Road and Bridge, Solid Waste, Transportation, and Weed and Pest Control.
